The Save Our Trees Public Art Activation at Carle Park in partnership with the Urbana Park District – Carle Park will be transformed into a public art installation for Boneyard weekend. Prairie Rivers Network, along with our members and community volunteers, will be tying ribbons around each and every one of the 300 trees within the park. Our goal is to help others visualize the threat of herbicide pollution on our communities and public lands. We will also have yard signs to give people who pass through the chance to learn more about the initiative.
The installation will be up and open all through boneyard weekend. Prairie Rivers Network will be on location Saturday 11am – 2pm to talk with community members.
