Luke Bronowski

Luke Bronowski Artist

Luke Bronowski

Luke Bronowski is a painter who resides in Saint Joseph, Illinois. He is former art teacher and utilizes layering and action painting along with texture to create his acrylic paintings. Luke does not have accolades to his name yet, but what he is most proud of at this point in his career is following in his father’s footsteps. His father, Robert, was also an artist. He hopes to someday open a studio/gallery bearing his father’s name.

Luke takes inspiration from the Pacific Northwest and space to create works that echo feelings of nature. He enjoys the artistic process and how his paints take on a life of their own when creating artwork. Luke hopes that his works evoke some sort of emotion or allows people to see something in a new way after viewing his artwork.

I believe abstract art is truly an artist’s work. I create a base to then let the paint take a life of its own. It can be textured; it can bleed into itself; it doesn’t matter. As the paint drips or splatters onto the canvas it takes on its own life. It is my hope that when people see my work that it allows them to see something in it or feel something from it.
