I’m Kell, AKA Geometric String.
I’m a mixed-media artist utilizing string and nails on painted wood to explore sacred geometry and other forms based in mathematics.
Each piece starts with careful planning and design, followed by hours of hammering nails into wood. While this is a relatively laborious process, creating string art has become a form of meditation for me. The intricate practice of winding string around nails thousands of times to create a complex unification allows me to feel more connected to the universe, and myself.
I hope that viewers will take a moment to enjoy getting lost in the labyrinths of string.
