Hello, I’m Justin Z Walden. I make art & music. As a recording artist for over 30 years I have released many records as Scarecrow Adams and worked on records for Korn to Guns N Roses, Robby Krieger to Brian Setzer to name a few. For the last 10 years I have created sound design for film trailers from Marvel movies to Star Wars films. Now, my creative expression in the moment is my meditation. I enjoy the discovering that improvisation allows me to participate in. With music I hit record…with painting I reach for the paint and let it flow. I usually work in abstracts with some figurative expressions coming thru occasionally. Most of what I make could be considered outsider art, some may be considered abstract expressionism or bauhaus. I pay no attention to genres. I paint what I feel, or when I feel like seeing what there is to see. Art is my medicine, my play, and most recently my action. Come meet my latest new friend Revolt Owl this year at Esquire Lounge in Champaign.
