Derek Niedringhaus

Darryl Kneelinghorse is the alias and pseudonym for Artist and musician Derek Niedringhaus. The artist graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Fine Art Painting with a minor in Printmaking.

His main body of images focus on projective space, linear perspective and the narrative of landscape as a projection of time.

The most recent series, ‘Projected Landscapes” is an exploration of personal influences through reimagined “projections” exploring styles of German expressionism, surrealism and geometric abstraction.
