STORY BUILDING: The Making of Illinois Theatre’s Plumas Negras by Juliette Carrillo
Based on stories from the Latina community of East Salinas, California, this magical realist play follows three generations of women struggling to keep their dreams alive. Designed and produced entirely by Illinois Theatre students and faculty, this exhibition includes scenic and costume designs, prototypes, and original artwork created for the Krannert Center’s April production.
