Art Show at Phillips Recreation Center: Everyday Ephemera by Tyson Kruse. In this show, Tyson explores the beauty of the transient – those often overlooked instants where nature or human-made structures intersect with a moment in time. From a butterfly’s delicate flight to the intricate lines of architecture interacting with light, each image is a story frozen in an instant, allowing the viewer to experience the ephemeral beauty that surrounds us every day.
In my photography, I try to focus on the small and ephemeral moments in nature, from the menace of a praying mantis to a curious chipmunk. My favorite photos are those that convey a sense of movement and storytelling, whether fanciful or inspirational. But I also try to find beauty in the everyday- of a leaf blown on a mushroom or a flower starting to bloom.
