Step into history at The Burnham Athenaeum! Meyer Capel is excited to collaborate with the Champaign County History Museum to showcase the stunning works of Harry Breen. Our main conference room features a large oil painting depicting a Champaign County farm field, along with several smaller watercolor paintings capturing various scenes from downstate Illinois. Join us for an open-house style event to view these beautiful pieces and celebrate the legacy of Harry Breen.

The main entrance is not wheelchair accessible. However, our back door has a ramp for wheelchair access. You can enter the back parking lot from Prairie or Hill Street to access our back door. There is also a handicap parking spot back there. The parking lot has specific entrance and exits, so be sure to follow the “one-way” signs.
