The artists represented by The Gilbert Gallery have become a community! We will be sharing their talents during the Boneyard Art Festival. On Friday, James Wade Powell will be painting in acrylic from 11-2 pm. Michael Zachay will be demonstrating his preparation of fused glass rondelays from 2-4 pm. Hers and His presents the work of married couple, Viktoria Ford and Stephen Kaufman, one schooled in the arts, the other in the sciences. One reflects her inner world, the other reflects his response to the outer world. The exhibition is composed of paintings and sculpture. There will be an opening reception on Friday, April 10th from 4-6pm. Friday: 10-6
We will showcase new bronze sculptures and new paintings by Peoria artist Preston Jackson, retired head of sculpture at the School of the Art Institute. Other art on display includes ceramics, glass, paintings, prints, sculpture, and studio furniture by 52 Midwestern artists. Friday, 4/10: 10am-8pm Saturday, 4/11: 10am-8pm
