Explore the intersection of policy and possibility in this multi-disciplinary exhibit. This show pairs data-driven maps on the Champaign-Urbana housing shortage with tactile found-object collages, evocative photography, and visionary architectural designs reimagining the Urbana Civic Center. Visitors are invited to “cut through the red tape” with hands-on interactive community installations.
CUrbanism Club presents an exhibit of Champaign cartographic studies and interactive installations, featuring found-object collages by local artist Abby Kipping. They are joined by photographer Fraya Replinger, whose macro and landscape photography captures beauty in places small and wide. The venue also showcases renderings and architectural drawings by University of Illinois School of Architecture students, curated by Professor Joseph Altshuler.
