Jesse Jaeckel

My name is Jesse Jaeckel, a third year in the theatre department at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I will be graduating in May with a Masters of Fine Arts degree in costume technology, though I have dabbled in every aspect of costume including management and design as well.

I grew up in California and earned my undergraduate degree at Southern Oregon University. Living in these two states for the majority of my life introduced a deep interest in the diverse natural environments shared between them. After moving to Illinois, I chose to do my graduate thesis on Midwest native plants in order to learn more about the plants and environments unique to this region.
