Circular Fashion Expo

The Circular Fashion Exposition (CFE) is the University of Illinois’ premier fashion event dedicated to fostering a circular textile economy by giving students the power to bull, sell, trade, design, and model secondhand & recycled fashion. For every 1,000 garments recirculated at the exposition, about 3,200kg of CO2e and 2M liters of water is saved from new clothing production. The CFE was founded in 2021 by Joshua Jay James, William Hohe, and Rebekah Phaiboun, and is now operated in partnership with The Fashion Network and the Siebel Center for Design.
