My main desire when I paint is to connect on a deep emotional level, my soul to yours, to express how I am feeling, what I am experiencing and learning. I care about being honest and open – to communicate in an authentic way that sometimes is hard to do with words alone. When I paint, I can express many things in color, brush stroke, patterns, and shapes that words alone are often too inadequate to fully explain.
