Sheila Parinas
Sheila K Parinas is a Midwestern visual artist and writer who was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, and has been living in the Champaign-Urbana area for over 25 years.
She draws inspiration from local music, nature, and cityscapes in which she finds herself. Her goal is to record these still moments of appreciation as her art evolves over time. The continuous line method reflects how everything and everyone is connected. Acrylic paint and alcohol ink help capture her appreciation of movement and color.
