I work primarily in oil paint, using realism as a way to honor the quiet beauty woven into everyday life. My paintings draw from the colorful local scenes of Champaign/Urbana and campus life, street corners washed in afternoon light, familiar buildings, and the subtle rhythms of campus neighborhoods.

Color, light, and detail guide my process. I want viewers to feel a sense of recognition, warmth, and connection—as if they’re stepping into a memory they didn’t realize they had.
