Cathrine Cunningham

I was first exposed to ceramics as a high school student and quickly realized that hand building with clay was much more satisfying than throwing on the wheel. After many years of life in the form of college, employment and family, I rediscovered my passion for ceramics by taking a Parkland College community class for adults. I joined the Champaign-Urbana Potters’ Club in 2010 and have been playing with clay ever since. My most recent piece, a ceramic replica of the UU Church on Green Street in Urbana will be available for sale at the church’s service auction on April 25th.
