Brittany Norman’s collection combines an avid love of rock climbing with a lifelong passion for creating functional art pieces. Each rock climbing hold is modelled on a real fossil from a dinosaur or other pre-historic lifeform and cast in urethane plastic. Brittany also collaborated with Boneyard Boulders to create routes for the climbing holds so that people can experience this collection as not only a visual art piece, but as an exploration of the art of movement.The inspiration for Brittany’s collection comes from an experience rock climbing in Puerto Rico, where she saw fossils embedded into the cliffside next to her as she climbed.

In her personal and professional life, Brittany explores many different artistic disciplines including painting, sculpting, and digital design. For the past 10 years, she has worked fabricating and installing museum exhibits across the United States and internationally.
