DESCRIPTION:Exploring Creative Photography with Mili Vishwakarma: Artist of the Corridor and Boneyard Workshop – This workshop offers a glimpse into creative photography\, encouraging you to see beyond the obvious\, break conventions\, and\, above all\, create with joy and emotion. You’ll learn how to get creative with the way you look at ordinary objects\, and learn techniques for cameras and editing tools to achieve layered abstractions in photographs. No prior photography experience is required for this workshop. \nMusings: Artist of the Corridor Exhibit. This dual-site exhibition is on view at Urbana’s City Hall and The Urbana Free Library presenting photography by Mili Vishwakarma. Just as nature continually renews itself\, the exhibition suggests that life\, too\, is shaped by change\, resilience\, and quiet moments of becoming. \nArt Exhibit with Urbana’s Elementary Schools – As part of the Boneyard Arts Festival\, art teachers from Urbana Elementary Schools are exhibiting artwork from their students. Authors featured at this year’s reading will be announced soon. The Red Herring Fiction Workshop has been meeting since 1980.
