DESCRIPTION:The View From Here Art Exhibition \nJoin us for this inaugural group show featuring a variety of local youth and adult artists that utilize all visual art mediums. \nSpringer Cultural Center is the main location for cultural arts programs within the district and houses cultural\, recreational\, and educational programs for all ages as well as workshops\, exhibits\, and performances. Our exhibitions offer local and regional artists a professional venue to display their work. Springer hosts approximately eight exhibitions per year. Exhibitions are determined by review of applications and works in all media will be considered\, with the exception of The View From Here Exhibition where artists can freely enter artwork for the show via entry form. \nFriday\, April 10: 8am – 9pm (closed 1-2pm)\nSaturday\, April 11: 9am – 3pm \n

SUMMARY:Common Ground Food Cooperative
DESCRIPTION:Common Ground Food Co-op’s Flatlander Art Gallery features the artwork of Victoria Baez with an exhibition centered around motherhood. Some of the work displayed was inspired by interviews with moms with kids of different ages. Artwork is a mix of acrylic\, gouache\, color pencil\, and oil pastels. There will be an opening art gallery reception on Friday\, April 10th from 4-6pm with light refreshments provided. \nThe event will take place in our Flatlander Classroom\, which is open everyday from 7:30 am – 9:00 pm. Victoria‘s art will be displayed through May 15th. \nOpening Reception: Friday\, April 10th from 4-6pm\nArt Installation available for viewing every day 7:30 am – 8pm. \n
