John Palen”s latest book of poems, “Strange and Wonderful Creates,” came out in 2025 from Sheila-Na-Gig Editions. It is his ninth book. John’s first published poem appeared in the magazine Prairie Schooner in 1967. He has published regularly since. He lives in Urbana.
