Lydia’s work spans figurative, landscape, and abstract approaches held together by recurring themes related to land, transcendence, wholeness, and fracturing. The work can be somber, stately, ridiculous, and quirky at the same time. She received her BFA from Washington University’s School of Art in St. Louis and is also a psychologist.
