Tara Starling

I have taught high school art for 5 years, but this is my second year in Unit 4. I really enjoy exposing my students to contemporary artists and non-traditional art making. I earned my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts at Eastern Illinois University and am finishing my Master’s degree in Community Arts this summer! I have recently been trying to learn to make art without overthinking and enjoy it! I love to show my students my own non-representational art so they are able to understand that not everything has to be hyper-realistic to be considered art!
