Christopher Reme
My name is Christopher Reme, I was born in a small town in Illinois in the 1980s. My first experience as an artist was when I was 6 and my grandmother gave me a pen and paper to keep me quiet in church. From there, I fell in love with drawing and art. My influences were comic books and cartoons as well as artists like Jack Kirby, Todd Mcfarlane, Joe Madureira, George Perez, and Chris Bachalo. I believe that being an artist is something that one is born to do and not learned at school. I went on to study through practical experience, learning through trial and error, and self-taught learning through any means I could find. I first began creating art on physical mediums using things like paint, markers, and colored pencils. I now work primarily in digital mediums and occasionally dabble in the physical. I’ve expanded my creativity to music as well as 3D art. I currently work from my home studio and any place that inspires me.
