Artwork will be on display by Nicole Anderson Cobb. In keeping with her working theme: “Renewal: Telling OUR Story at 250”, she will share watercolor paintings that she has been creating since 2024 that explores history and identity locally, nationally, and beyond. Additionally, Nicole also invites community members to FMC for their own artmaking on-site if they are so inclined.
Brief Artist Biography: Nicole Anderson Cobb, Watercolorist
I am a painter that uses watercolor, collage, dried plants and found objects as my preferred mediums to express the following interests: contemplation, meditation & prayer; depictions of African Americans outdoors; still-life & nature-inspired paintings; voting & 2024 elections; African American fraternities & sororities; politics and abstract paintings and more.

In Winter 2025, my work —“Pentecost Tree” was exhibited at Church of Heavenly Rest Undercroft Gallery: “Let There Be Light” Exhibition February 4-March 16, 2025, New York City.
