So begins my current project, The Next Reader, a novel of magical realism about a book trapped in a closed used book store, who makes his escape and take us along on his journey.

I’m a lifelong resident of central Illinois and the author of four paranormal adventure novels. I live in Urbana with my greatest fan and wife of 53 years, Susan.
